La Rinascita’s cheeses and dairy products are born in the Valle del Cedrino, a few kilometres from the Gulf of Orosei, exclusively from the milk of sheep and goats grazing in the Baronia of Orosei. It is a unique region, where the Cedrino valley, the hills of Irgoli and the Onifai woods, dominated and protected by the summits of the Senes and Tuttavista mountains, represent an environment in which man and his flocks are part of a ancient and unrepeatable balance. The taste and the scent of these cheeses preserve the aromas of nature where their flocks have grazed. It is easy to taste them, to feel the scent of aromatic herbs that grow spontaneously as the seasons alternate.

To conserve these tasty treasures, the La Rinascita Cooperative made a courageous choice: to remain a small company to produce quality cheeses. For this reason, they continue to use grasslands on the plains and hills according to tradition. Only under these conditions can sheep and goats produce a milk with a quality of days gone by. The choice of the La Rinascita Cooperative to continue manufacturing like a hundred years ago goes against the tide. However, only this way and thanks to this company policy, is it still possible to discover a taste from a great tradition and a great land.
